PDO Max Threads
It was back in 2014 after spending time in Italy alongside top plastic surgeons that founder Giovanna McCarthy recognized that PDO Threads are an innovative procedure that would fill a void in the U.S. aesthetic market. It was then that she began conducting substantive research and review of literature to determine the best thread and barb designs and formed PDO Max in 2017. She searched high and low to partner with an ISO certified manufacturing plant in South Korea to create her thread designs.
It was in 2019 that PDO Max became one of a few companies who had a fully FDA cleared PDO thread-in-cannula device, which are designed and manufactured in-house. PDO Max offers one of the least invasive products to help reposition sagging skin while also stimulating collagen and elastin production to give patients defined features while maintaining a more naturally youthful look. With over 20 varieties of barbed-, smooth-, ciclone-, and multi-thread options, There Is a Thread for That™ has become our motto because they can reposition or smooth out skin texture for almost any area of the face and body. “We are always listening to the needs of our customers and try to design products that are not only safe, but both effective and convenient, so that practitioners can perform the procedure with more ease,” says Giovanna.
PDO Max threads is the trusted provider of hundreds of medical practices utilizing its proprietary FDA cleared Polydioxanone (PDO) threads in their medical aesthetics practices. FDA-cleared PDO Max threads (K190245), can help you grow your practice with training and device support. PDO Max offers both group and individual instructional courses, which cover the application of PDO techniques. Our focus is on the science of beauty, and the most effective ways to restore the indicators of health, using minimally invasive techniques that offer stunning results.
